A tree doesn't have to be completely dead to be dangerous. When decay gets into the core - especially on a multi-trunk tree growing close to a home and power lines - the clock is already ticking. What looks solid on the outside can be completely hollow and compromised on the inside, and all it takes is one strong gust to turn that into a disaster.

Here's what we were working with on this one. The trunk had severe internal rot eating through the center, leaving the wood dark, crumbling, and structurally useless. That kind of decay doesn't slow down - it spreads. And with the tree sitting right next to a fence, a structure, and power lines nearby, this was not a situation anyone should have been sitting on.

We took it down carefully, section by section, keeping full control throughout the removal. Once the tree was down, we ground the stump out completely - no jagged remnants left behind, just clean ground. That's how we leave every job. The debris gets cleared, and you're not left dealing with a mess on top of an already stressful situation.

If you've got a tree showing signs of rot - soft bark, cracks running up the trunk, hollow sounds when you knock on it, or visible dark decay - don't brush it off. Those are warning signs that the tree is losing its structural integrity. The longer it sits, the higher the risk to your property and anyone near it.

Tree removal near a home or utility lines isn't something to hand off to just anyone. It takes the right equipment, a clear plan, and people who know how to work in tight spaces without causing more damage. That's what we do, every single time.
